It is with a truly a heavy heart, that I share the news that we lost a great friend of our dojo, an amazing martial artist and just a great human

Sensei Steve - you will be sorely missed by many.

Thank you for all that you did for our ZCR students and for your friendship.

All our thoughts go out to Sensei’s family, friends, students, instructors - to the whole of Mid Coast Martial Arts Academy, and to all who had the privilege to have crossed paths with him.

Rest in Peace Sensei

It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news of the passing of my good friend, long-time student, and fellow martial artist, Stephen (Slick) Szorcsoki.

Stephen was a well-known and respected member of the martial arts community, having dedicated over 40 years to karate and being heavily involved in the AMAC tournament circuit. Throughout his many years in martial arts, he touched the lives of countless practitioners and built friendships and connections that extended far beyond the dojo.

His presence, friendship, and contribution to the martial arts community will be greatly missed. The dojo will not be the same without him.

Rest in peace, Slick. Thank you for the memories, the friendship, and your many years of dedication to martial arts. You will never be forgotten. 🥋

My deepest condolences to Stephen’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
