What an incredible story, mountain biking is for everyone 🚵‍♂️

Tom Wheeler's prep for a mountain bike ride is a little different to most.

As well as putting on his helmet and gloves, he straps on a one of a kind arm brace - a piece of adaptive technology he built himself

Wheeler lost the use of his right arm in race crash 15 years ago, but even from his hospital bed, he was plotting his return to the sport>

"The brace was something I dreamed up in hospital. I just pictured myself with this arm brace and getting back to doing what I always did," he says

This is one of the most important aspects of mountain biking.

I spend a lot of time coaching riders to just " look ahead" not at their front wheel . It takes practice and confidence to do right.

Congratulations to everyone involved in today's Gladstone Gravity Enduro Rd 2.
Big thank you to all the volunteers on their dedication to the sport, without your help there wouldn't be a race or a club.
