The perfect introduction to basketball for kids! Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or already loves the game, Aussie Hoops is all about learning new skills, building confidence, making friends, and most importantly... having fun!

We also take skill levels into consideration so if you feel your child should be in the opposite group, please speak to our coaches and we can adjust.

Designed as the first stage of Basketball Queensland's athlete development pathway, aimed at finding the next generation of athletes that could one day represent Queensland. The program is designed to engage, inspire, and develop all athletes who are involved in representative basketball programs across Queensland.

A great weekend of development and exposure for Gladstone Basketball’s 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗠𝗰𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹, who represented Gladstone at the annual 𝗕𝗤 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗙𝗗𝗣) 𝗔𝗹𝗹-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽! 👏

Hamish joined athletes from across Queensland, putting his skills into practice, experiencing the BQ style of play and continuing to develop the training habits required to progress at the next level.

As part of his preparation for the camp, Hamish committed to two additional early-morning training sessions each week, putting in the extra work to ensure he was ready for the opportunity

Hamish’s commitment to putting in the extra work is a great example of the attitude and habits needed to continue developing as a player.

A huge congratulations to all of our 𝗨𝟭𝟲 & 𝗨𝟭𝟴 athletes who took the court over the weekend for the 𝗦𝗣𝗣 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀! 👏🏀

We are incredibly proud to have so many 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗹𝗮𝗱𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 and putting in the hard work, effort and commitment to challenge themselves and take the next step in their basketball journey.

Please ensure shorts:
