And just like that… Season 2026 is done and dusted!

It’s been one hell of a year for Goldoni Racing, with plenty of highs, a few lows, and certainly plenty of memories.

Season Highlights
• Returning to Sprintcar action — although unfortunately our campaign was cut short.
• Taking out the Duel In The North Wingless Championship with our super-sub Jack McCarthy behind the wheel.
• A string of other podium finishes throughout the season with our super-sub Jack McCarthy.
• Seeing our team continue to grow and develop both on and off the track.

Season Lowlight
• Daniel suffering a back injury just two nights into the season, ultimately putting an end to his 2026 racing campaign.

So, what does Season 2027 look like?

To be brutally honest… we simply don’t know yet.

Daniel is still on the waiting list to see a back specialist, and ultimately the outcome could go one of two ways.

Best case — there is something that can be fixed or managed, and Daniel can eventually get back behind the wheel.

Unfortunately, there is also a possibility that he may not be able to race again. If that is the outcome, it could mean the end of Goldoni Racing and the sale of all our racing equipment and inventory.

For now, though, we’ll take things one step at a time and see what the future holds.

One thing we do know is that we couldn’t have done 2026 without the incredible people who have supported us along the way. To every sponsor, partner, crew member, family member, friend and supporter — thank you. Your support means more than you know, and we genuinely couldn’t do this without you.

We’d also like to wish all of our interstate friends the very best as they kick off their new seasons. We’ll be watching on and cheering you all on from the sidelines!

For now, it’s time to put the tools down, take a breath and enjoy a well-earned break.

2026 Chariots Of Thunder Recap // Northline Speedway

Our Chariots Of Thunder campaign got off to a solid start, with a 4th place finish in the A Main on Night 1.

Unfortunately, after the Friday night debacle we had to endure, it put us on the back foot for the remainder of the weekend. We fought hard to claw our way back into contention, but unfortunately our campaign came to an end in last night’s A Main after getting caught up in a mid-race incident.

A massive thank you to Jack McCarthy for joining our team and committing his time to close out the season with us. Jack was nothing short of all class throughout the seven nights, taking out the Duel In The North Championship, Prelim NT Championship A Main, and backing it up with a 3rd place finish in the NT Championship the following night.

We couldn’t have asked for a better driver to jump in and represent Goldoni Racing.

NT CHAMPIONSHIP // Northline Speedway

The 2026 NT Wingless Championship is done and dusted, and we came away with Third.

- NIGHT 1
Heat 1 // 5th
Heat 2 // 2nd
A Main // 1st

- NIGHT 2
Heat 1 // 4th
Heat 2 // 3rd
A Main // 3rd

We fell just two spots short of taking the Championship, but we’re extremely happy with the result. A couple of things simply didn’t go our way in the A Main, but that’s racing and we’ll take plenty of positives from the weekend.

Jack and the entire team continued to be an absolute class act, backing up their recent form with another string of top-three results and taking home another A Main win in the prelim. The consistency has been unreal!

THIS THURSDAY we’re back at Northline Speedway for Night 1 of the Chariots Of Thunder Wingless Series!

IT’S NT CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK!

This Friday and Saturday night, we return to Northline Speedway for the biggest blue ribbon event on the NT Wingless calendar, the 2026 NT Wingless Championship!

After such a strong showing last weekend, we’re keen to get back on track and keep the momentum rolling!

The NT Championship hasn’t been too kind to us in the past, but we’re ready to make amends and give it everything we’ve got.

McCarthy Crowned Duel In The North Wingless Champion!

Jack McCarthy has been crowned the Duel In The North Wingless Champion, steering the Goldoni Racing 5D to victory at Northline Speedway.

After stepping into the Goldoni Racing seat, South Australian driver Jack McCarthy delivered an incredible result in his first major hit-out with the team, starting the feature from P5 and charging his way to the front to claim victory.

McCarthy piloted the team’s double reverse arm KPC to a hard-fought win, securing the Duel In The North crown and giving Goldoni Racing an unforgettable start to this new chapter.

Goldoni Racing would like to congratulate Jack on an outstanding performance and thank him for the opportunity to work together.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our time together. Jack jumped into the car and delivered when it mattered, and to come away as Duel In The North Wingless Champions is an incredible result for the whole team”, said Daniel.

With the Duel In The North trophy now secured, Goldoni Racing will turn its attention to the next challenge, with the NT Wingless Championship set to take place on September 4th and 5th.

The team is looking forward to hitting the track again with Jack behind the wheel as the Goldoni Racing program continues its 2026 campaign.

This Friday & Saturday kicks off the first two nights of 7 BIG nights of Wingless racing, with the 2026 Duel In The North at Darwin’s Northline Speedway.

Jack will hit the track for the first time in the NT5 as we begin our massive month of Wingless racing across the Top End.

Jack McCarthy to Drive Goldoni Racing’s 5D for Chariots of Thunder Wingless Campaign!

South Australia’s Jack McCarthy will join forces with Goldoni Racing this September, stepping into the seat of the team’s 5D Wingless for the Northern Territory Wingless Championship and the prestigious Chariots of Thunder Wingless Series.

McCarthy will replace injured Territorian Daniel Goldoni, who is sidelined after sustaining a back injury in a recent Sprintcar outing.

The pairing will contest the NT Wingless Championship before backing it up a week later for the three-night Chariots of Thunder Wingless Series.

“When I found out I’d be sidelined with my back injury, Jack was the first person I called,” Goldoni said.

“He’s one of my best mates and, in my opinion, one of the best Wingless drivers in the country. His home track of Murray Bridge races very similarly to Darwin, where you’ve got to be right up against the fence to be fast.”

“He’s also racing a KPC chassis just like ours, so he’ll be comfortable straight away. It really was a no-brainer.”

McCarthy arrives in the Territory as one of the most accomplished drivers in this year’s field. The reigning Pro Speedcar Speedweek Champion competes at the highest level in Speedcars with the Hardwyer Murphy Speedcar Team while also racing regularly in Wingless Sprintcars and LS/360 Sprintcars.

The team will also hit the track with Jack ahead of September, contesting the two-night Duel in the North at the end of August as a pre-event shakedown. The outing will provide valuable laps together, allowing the team to build a strong notebook and fine-tune the car before the Northern Territory Championship and Chariots of Thunder campaign.
