There’s a misconception that the coach should always win every single exchange, especially if they are a black belt.
Truth is, in a genuinely good school, sweeping, throwing, passing or submitting your coach shouldn’t be a rare thing.
They are great indicators that what’s being taught at your school actually works, even on the person that taught you those concepts and moves.
