Uechi-Ryu Karate Do - Oak Flats Uechi-Ryu Karate Do Australia Inc. is a not-for-profit martial arts centre, run by our members, for our members. He has cornered over 200 fights.

We specialise in Uechi-Ryu Karate Do & Muay Thai Kickboxing. Head Instructor: Kyoshi Nick Moulas (7 Dan) Uechi Ryu Oak Flats Martial Arts is a full-time martial arts centre, and has been around for over 10 years. We are now a not-for-profit centre, run by our members, for our members. We pride ourselves in teaching traditional Uechi-Ryu Karate & Muay Thai Kickboxing. Hanshi Arthur Moulas (9 Dan) has been teaching Uechi-Ryu Karate for 50 years in 2024 and is the head of Uechi-Ryu Karate Do Australia. Kyoshi Nick Moulas (7 Dan) is the head instructor at the Oak Flats dojo. Kyoshi Nick has been training Uechi-Ryu for over 40 years and has travelled to Okinawa 7 times. Kyoshi Nick has competed locally and internationally on many occasions. Kyoshi Nick has also been training Muay Thai for around 25 years and teaching it for 20 years full-time. He has trained with some of the best in Australia and has a wealth of knowledge to offer. Kyoshi Nick is also a registered Muay Thai promoter and has hosted 8 Muay Thai fight nights over the last 15 years. If it's good, hard training that you desire, you have come to the right place. We are a community dojo and we have many black belts and skilled people to help you be your best. Adults can come in a get a FREE trial anytime. Our very own, Athan Moulas, has recently been awarded the gold medal in the Junior Male kata division at the 17th Thailand Open Karate Championships in Bangkok!

Athan was given the opportunity to compete in this extremely high level comp around some of the worlds best athletes. He was able to secure the gold medal 🥇 with outstanding performances in every round!

Athan also competed in the Senior category the day before, where he placed 4th out of 37 athletes, being the youngest of them all!

This is only Athan’s second international tournament and he was able to achieve so much! We are all very proud of you and cannot wait to see how your karate journey continues!
