The 2025/26 season has officially wrapped up, and we’re excited to continue our announcements and preparations for the new 2026/27 campaign!
Next up, we’re excited to announce a familiar face — Farhan Hussain
Farhan has worn the Clyde colours previously when studies and life understandably turned priority.
He was raised through the ranks from a junior at Buckley Ridges before recently spending time with Koo Wee Rup.
He knows exactly what it takes to compete at a high level and is ready to hit the ground running in Clyde colours.
A quality person and all rounder who can make an impact with both bat and ball, Farhan is a strong addition that further strengthens the club and what we’re building for the season ahead.

Next up, we’re delighted to confirm that talented all-rounder Luke Kerford will be back in the green and gold for another season!
Luke is an all rounder with talent to burn and has fitted in seamlessly from day one. He is on board with what we’re building at Clyde Cricket Club and is committed to playing his part in it.
With his ability to contribute with both bat and ball, Luke adds serious quality and balance to the club on and off the field as we continue to bring together a strong, committed group for the season ahead.

A true pillar of our bowling attack, Ankush brings consistency competitiveness, and quality with the ball whether it is opening the innings or equally as classy closing out the innings at the death.
Ankush forming a key part of the strong, committed squad, he remains committed and sees what we’re building for the season ahead.

He’s been selected for the 2026 Cross Country Athletic Tour in the USA with Sports Travel Australia, and now he’s doing the hard yards to make it happen.
This isn’t just a trip. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete internationally, train with top-level coaches, and challenge himself against some of the best young athletes in the world.

The 2025/26 season has officially wrapped up, and we’re excited to kick off our announcements and preparations for the new 2026/27 campaign!
We’d like to announce our Head Coach moving forward for the 2026/27 season
First and foremost, we want to thank CJ for his time and commitment as our coach over the past two years.
We wish him all the best as he moves on to chase new endeavours and thank him for his dedication to Clyde Cricket Club.

Stepping back into the Head Coach role is a man no stranger to success at Lineham Oval — John Simpson
Ten years ago this year, Simo led our 1st and 2nd XIs to their last premierships along with promotion into the top flight of the CCCA.
Since then he has continued to serve the club in multiple roles, most recently coaching one of our junior sides to premiership glory in the 2025/26 season just gone.
Along with a strong team of assistant coaches to be announced soon, Simo is on board with what we’re building at the club and eager to get our senior sides firing as we chase further premiership success.

The 2026 Annual General Meeting is complete and the 25/26 season is officially in the books.

Firstly, a massive thank you to all the members who have stepped away from their roles this year. Your hard work, time and dedication have helped shape what Clyde CC is today and on behalf of all our members, we truly appreciate everything you’ve contributed both on and off the field.
