A day. That's what 48 people in the Clare Valley Podiatry comp+ a heap green fee players including a group from Port Wakefield Golf Club had yesterday.

Welcome to the summer members coming out after successful seasons at Blyth Golf Club, Yacka Golf Club, Jamestown Golf Club Inc and Saddleworth Golf Club.

A Birthday was what Jarrad Steele had going -1 for 42 points to take the victory and the clubhouse 💵from Clare Valley Podiatry.
Well played Jarrad, it must have been the special ball!
Going 1 over for 39 points to claim 🥈was Luke Broadbent with Adam Moller having dried out in 🥉with 38 points.
Exceptional golf from these 3 and the 5 others who played better or to handicap.

We must call out the grounds team of Sam, Leon, Potto, and all the volunteers the course is in spectacular condition. 👏👏👏

We were fortunate to have Maitland Contracting out on Monday trenching near 12, 13, 14 & 18 greens which will make a huge difference to the greens come the heat of summer.

Thanks to Gus, Steph and the team at Maitland Contracting.

For you golfers the trench is considered GUR.
The grounds team keep pushing for better.

TWILIGHT GOLF IS BACK.

2 nights. 2 great comps.

SJM Carpentry & Building stableford round on Saturday with 43 players getting the winter white legs out for a run in sensational conditions, match by the condition of the course.

There was a report of a brief isolated shower on top of #7 which made holding a club difficult, lucky it found its way to the bottom of the hill so the owner could retrieve.

Aus Tizio was sensational with 40 points setting a high water mark early and holding all day to claim the clubhouse 💵's.
A week is a long time in golf, just ask Anthony Nitschke who turned the form around with 37 points for 🥈, his mates who provide support in the tough weeks will be proud.
Playing to handicap was Jarrad Steele beating a list of 3 others on 36 points to end 🥉.

Player of the day goes to Carl Jakeway who had more 'P's' that the freezer section at Foodland on the front 9 for 5 points.
Encouragement from the 👬👬and a 🍺stop turned his day around, a birdie on #10 started a points blitz rolling home with 22 points on the back. It only got better when #10 was spun on the jackpot hole and he claimed the huge jackpot of $10.
