In another small field of players it was Ken McCarthy who took out top spot in this weeks stableford competition! A strong back nine of 22 points saw him finish with 35 points ahead of Dion Hissey on 32!

This weeks Ceduna Foodland meat tray was won by Nathan Ahmat-Watkins

In what was a fine day for golf it seems that a few players must have gone fishing with only 8 players taking to the course for another round of stableford including a visitor from Sydney in Laurie Geist who is taking up the Nullarbor links challenge!

Ian McKenzie had a great day, taking out not only the wine but the Ceduna Foodland meat tray to go with it!!

Runner up was Rafe Palmer who also took out the NTP on hole 4

Hopefully see many more players back out next week!

While the club championships were being played out the rest of field took place in a stableford competition with Titan Swadek coming out on top with 40 points ahead of Ken McCarthy on 36

This weekend if the Semi-finals of the cleb championships for all grades!
Tee off times as normal for all fnals matches with the rest of field following in a round of stableford.

With rain, hail, 50km winds and the occasional crack of lighting it was hardly suprising to see many skip the last qualifying round of the club championships this week. But for the brave few that needed to play for a chance at finals there was gold at the end of the rainbow with all 3 who needed a second card playing well enough to grab a spot in the semi-finals.

6 players in total survived the brutal conditions with Clinton wearne at the top with a well ground out 88 (net 82) well in front of David Wrights 97 (net 88)

Clinton also took out the Ceduna Foodland Meat tray

Next week is the Semi-Finals which is matchplay format for all those qualified while the rest of field will play stableford!

This week was everybodys favourite format in a Par round. The fine weather didn’t translate into many quality scores but one player stood tall at the top of the pack! John Fuller, with +4, took out the day well ahead of second placed David Wright who finished the round even!

Reminder to all that next weekends round is the third and final round of qualifying for all grades in the club championships!

It was an honour and absolute pleasure to be able to host SideXSide’s “Swing away the Stigma” ambrose event on friday! Massive thankyou to the legends who worked tirelessly through the week to get the course into great shape for what was a fantastic day!
Another just as massive thankyou goes to Don Seneca for organising the whole day and his band of merry men in the kitchen who whipped up a fantastic feed!!

Along with the many wonderful prizes taken home by the winners of the golf event, there was a major raffle on the day with some unreal prizes! Congratulations to the following winners:
