HOST FAMILIES NEEDED!

Have you ever wondered, what would my house look like with one extra person, specifically a grown adult, thrown into the mix?

Do you need an extra set of hands around the house? Maybe your kids play junior baseball and are in need of a built in mentor/coach/buddy?

Perhaps you'd like to just help someone's dream of international travel come true?

Guess what, the opportunity is now yours!

We need some host families to support our club and, importantly, host our imports. We've got a few arriving (details soon) but we would love for expressions of interest!

It's really not that daunting, don't stress. DM us for details!

Women's Baseball needs you!

Please consider giving this competition a go.

After three years of trying to get women’s baseball back up and running in Canberra, this is the opportunity we have in front of us and every competition has to start somewhere.

The reality is that without women putting their hands up to play now, there won’t be a competition to grow. We can’t rebuild what we once had unless we all help lay the foundations again.

We genuinely think we’re going to have a great time. It’ll be competitive, social, and a chance to get back on the field with some pretty awesome women who all love the game.

Every single person who registers is helping build something bigger than one season. You’re helping create opportunities for the women playing now and for the girls who deserve to have a local women’s competition to aspire to.

We'd really love to see as many familiar faces as possible out there. If you’ve been sitting on the fence, jump in and help us build women’s baseball back to where it belongs.

A huge congratulations to the Baseball Canberra Women’s Rangers on an outstanding performance at the NSW Women’s Championship in Belmont on 4–5 July.

The BCW Rangers finished 3rd overall with three wins and two losses, including a victory over the eventual runners-up and a heartbreaking one-run loss to the eventual champions on the final play of the game.

Over two days, the team played an incredible 10 hours of baseball, showing resilience, determination and teamwork from first pitch to last. No matter the score, these women were never out of the fight and represented Baseball Canberra with pride every time they took the field.

We’re incredibly proud of this group and everything they achieved across the weekend. Congratulations to a well-deserved bronze medal.

We had a total of 104 at bats with 69 of them being QABS (quality at bats) which is out standing. 53 stolen bases in 5 games with only 4 caught stealing.

Outstanding effort!
