Well that's a wrap for another year of the Cane Toad Classic . Everyone rode awesome & they all stayed upright. Now the fun of clearing bikes & unpacking begins.

Well i got a photo of them all together. The first one was trying to get them all together.

Just letting everyone know that tonight's menu will be a little smaller than usual, as we have a few of our amazing helpers away.

We're still looking for a couple of extra hands to help out, but we're hoping to have most volunteer roles covered.

πŸ’šπŸ’› Day 4 Wrap-Up – What an Incredible World Championships Campaign! πŸ’›πŸ’š

The final day of racing at the 2026 UCI BMX World Championships has come to a close, bringing an end to an unforgettable week for our Caboolture BMX Club riders.

A huge congratulations to Shaun Brunton, Kameli Jones, Jaime Mansbridge and Kim Baldock, who all represented our club and Australia with pride, determination and sportsmanship on the world stage.

Shaun Brunton rode brilliantly in the 35 & Over Men's class, making it through to the 1/8 Finals. In an incredibly close race, Shaun narrowly missed progressing by the smallest of margins. It was an outstanding performance against a world-class field.

Kameli Jones was riding exceptionally well in the 17–24 Women's class and also progressed to the 1/8 Finals. Sadly, an unfortunate accident brought her World Championships campaign to an early end. Kameli showed incredible speed and determination throughout the event, and we wish her a full and speedy recovery.

In the fiercely competitive 35 & Over Women's class, with a field of 46 riders, both Jaime Mansbridge and Kim Baldock represented the club with pride.

Jaime rode strong, confident races and matched it with some of the best riders in the world, capping off an incredible return to World Championship competition.

Kim held her own in a stacked field, stayed on the bike, embraced every moment and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of competing against the world's best. Racing at this level is an achievement in itself.

As our 2026 World Championships campaign comes to an end, we couldn't be prouder of every rider who wore the Caboolture BMX Club colours. Every rider gave their absolute best, and they have all done our club proud.

Reaching this level doesn't happen overnight. It takes years of dedication from the riders, support from families, guidance from coaches, and the commitment of volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to help make these opportunities possible.

Our club and our track play a huge role in developing riders from their very first race through to competing on the world stage. To continue giving our riders the best chance to grow, we ask everyone in our community to help us look after our track. By keeping it free from unnecessary damage caused by recreational use such as e-bikes and other non-club riding, we can ensure it remains a great place for our riders to train, develop and chase their BMX dreams.

Finally, thank you to our incredible volunteers, coaches, officials, sponsors, families and supporters. Your time, encouragement and dedication make achievements like these possible.

To every one of our World Championship ridersβ€”thank you for inspiring our club. We are incredibly proud of you all and can't wait to see what the future holds. πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ
