The 2026 Buchan Bush Bash is finished and allllll done. Before we get to results, events like this don't happen without help, so a massive thank you goes to all who helped with setup, pack down, fed us, gave lifts to and from the pub for dinner, and those who coached and helped shooters throughout the weekend.
Thank you to all the sponsors who provided prizes for the shooters to pick through on the prize table! We don't shoot for prizes but we do all love to be able to pick up something to add to our collection of shooting gear and hopefully improve ourselves for next time!
Gunsport trading Bairnsdale for supplying prizes for the side match shot during sight in on Sunday as well as general prizes. Gunsport are one of the biggest supporters of BPRC and have always been there for us and shooters in the area, whether they are competition shooters, hunters, or farmers alike. They also pay match fees for all juniors attending our regular monthly NRL shoots, helping the next generation of shooters get a start.
, Lachy and the team up at Leupold Australia/Nioa gave us a massive number of prizes even after being the title sponsor of another massive precision 22 match in Coffs Harbour recently. We and the rest of the shooting community appreciate all of the effort being put in to elevate the standard of shooting competitions in Australia recently through sponsorship and support being given by the team.
au/Ignition Custom Engineering, as always we love to catch up with Nik and Myf, we all loved having you visit and thank you for adding to the prize table, I know there was a bit of a scramble for your ARCA rail!
Accuracy Lab Gun Cleaning and Shooting Products, Stu Ellam is a fellow shooter and is a regular visitor to Buchan, often making the trip down to shoot with us and this time he surprised us with a handful of cleaning products as well as some muzzle devices as well.
, once again helped out with some support bags and dope card holders, arguably the most important pieces of equipment for precision r***e shooting, other than a r***e and scope!
MDT Sporting Goods also intended to chip in with some prizes but unfortunately they didn't arrive in time for our shooters to fight over on the prize table. Nonetheless, we do still appreciate their support and their chassis were definitely a massive percentage of the ones used this weekend.
And obviously a hugeeee thank you to Come Get Stuffed for feeding us all! Thank you so very much again, we hope to have you back with more Unicorn tacos again soon!
