Laura and her family were tireless running the canteen and offering to help wherever they could. We are honoured that so many local community members pitched in to make the draft such a success. Credit and gratitude to Bayrook Pastoral, Alfred Hackett, Amy Rogers and Julie Rogers, our generous Hereford cattle donors and transporters for the weekend from Butchers Ridge and Gelantipy.
They also donated the use of the drop-deck we used as a grandstand. 👌
These guys can cater for your needs from the ground to the market, carting stock and fodder ‘everywhere and anywhere’, with regular runs to Ballarat sheep sale. They also do contracting - cultivation and sowing crops, as well as rock picking and raking, meaning Alfred can get your rocks off! 🤣
Bayrook Pastoral has a B-double for livestock and the drop deck for carting hay, silage and wool.
