Shoutout to all the hoop dads this Father’s Day 🫶🏽

The early mornings, late nights, long drives, rebounds, pep talks, tournament weekends and countless hours on the sidelines.

A lot of what these kids get to experience wouldn’t happen without you.

And a special shoutout to my old man - Element wouldn’t exist without the countless hours he spent doing all of the above for me.

Good luck for Year 4, Sophie Bennett 🇺🇸🏀

The energy Sophie brings to Element Basketball is hard to replicate. Whether she’s training, competing or just around the gym, she brings an energy that makes everyone around her better 🤙

She’ll definitely be missed, but the entire Element community is excited to see what’s ahead as she goes back to the US for Year 4 of her college career.

The Element Basketball community is incredibly proud of Alex as he embarks on the next chapter of his journey, where he’ll be playing college basketball for Mount Aloysius MBB 🇺🇸🏀

Coach Isaac first began coaching Alex during his final two years of senior basketball at CHAC. Through nothing but hard work and persistence, Alex went from the end of the bench in Grade 11 to becoming the leading scorer for the First V in his senior year.

During that time, Alex also became a big part of the Element Basketball community - consistently training with us and competing for our Premier League Division 2 team.

This season, he’s taken another huge step, averaging an absurd 34.1 PPG - 10 points clear of the league’s next-highest scorer - while continuing to develop as an all-around basketball player.

It’s been pretty special watching the work pay off and seeing how far he’s come.

Alex, you’ll be missed around Element, but everyone here is incredibly proud of you and rooting for you.

Go make the most of it, mate. 🇦🇺➡️🇺🇸

Shoutout to Michelle Perry & Ghia Assanova for playing in their first ever basketball games at Twinny Classic 2k26 ’26! 🏀

Neither of them had ever played basketball before, but they jumped into training alongside their kids and kept showing up week after week.

It’s been so much fun watching not only their improvement on the court, but also seeing their kids watch their mums step outside their comfort zones, try something completely new, and get better every time they play. So cool 🤙

Shoutout to Erin from Be Hoops!

We’ve run a few camps together now, and they’re always an awesome time. Erin’s knowledge of the game is obviously outstanding (these camps are always a great time for me to learn from her), but what stands out even more is the genuine care she has for every kid she coaches. Erin has an incredible way of making players feel encouraged, and confident, while still challenging them to improve.

Looking forward to many more camps together! 🏀
