BIG news...
At 7pm on Wednesday 14 October, 2015, as a newly minted (and very nervous) yoga teacher, I taught a yoga class from a hired space in Mitchelton. I wasn't sure anyone would turn up, but they did. Still, if anyone had told me I'd be teaching that Wednesday night class for more than ten years 🔮 I wouldn't have believed them. I've never done anything for that long before. However, that's exactly what happened.
So, it was with mixed emotions 🥹 that last night, I taught my last 7pm Wednesday night class in Mitchelton, at Our Lady of Dolours Church Community Centre. It was wonderful to have so many regular yogis there, sharing time, space and energy. 😊
To everyone who's joined me at this class over the years - in the room, and via Zoom! - I've valued your presence and enjoyed teaching and getting to know you a little, or a lot. I've learnt from you, and laughed with you. It's been a deep honour and privilege sharing yoga with you.
To everyone at classes over the last couple of weeks thank you so much for every kind word of support, it's made something that was really, really hard, just a little easier. 💓
I'm not retiring from teaching yoga, or moving away. I'm just taking a fork in the road, and I'm excited about it. So, stay tuned for where to find me on Wednesday nights from next week. 💫
