Club Coops – A Family Legacy Since 1979

Founded in 1979 by Ashley and Terry Cooper, Club Coops was built on a vision to create Queensland’s premier destination for tennis. Ashley, a former World No. 1 and eight-time Grand Slam tennis champion, brought his expertise and passion for tennis, while Terry’s business acumen ensured the club’s ongoing growth and innovation. What began as a high performance tennis centre has naturally evolved into Brisbane’s leading private members-only health and racquet club, continually refined to deliver excellence, exclusivity, and innovation. With world-class tennis courts, a magnesium wellness pool, and a 24/7 state-of-the-art fitness facility, Club Coops provides a premium environment for those who value movement, connection, and community. Our expertly designed yoga and Pilates spaces, high-energy group cycle and functional training experiences, and industry-leading coaching ensure members can train, recover, and excel at every level. There’s something special about Tennis Fixture Finals Night at Coops.

It’s the culmination of a season of competition, but more importantly, it’s a chance to bring our community together, celebrate the season that was and enjoy a great night around the club.

Season Two finished in true Coops style as part of The Live Series — great tennis under lights, a packed Terrace and an atmosphere that reminds us what being part of a club is all about.

With Season Three now underway, we wish all of our players the very best for the final season of the year.

And then we get to do it all over again at our next Finals Night.

After our biggest ever first season, we’re looking to make Season 2 even bigger and better again at Club Coops.

With more than 100 teams and over 900 players already part of our tennis community, Fixtures have become one of the biggest and most social tennis competitions in Brisbane.
