Following the Interstate Challenge on Saturday the Australian Universities men's and women's squads to tour Fiji later this year were selected.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 QLD v NSW clash. NSW got the chocolates this year in both the men’s and women’s games. Congratulations to NSW Staff and Players. The UQRL Board is extremely proud of all the QLD players and staff for their efforts in this years campaign. Congratulations to the following players on their selection in the Australian Universities Team who will tour Fiji later in 2026. This is momentous occasion as this will mark the first ever Australian Women’s team to tour.
