FOUNDERS DAY 2026 – FLAGGYS WANTED!

It takes more than riders to make race day happen… it takes an incredible team of volunteers!

We’re looking for Flaggys to help keep our riders safe and our racing running smoothly at AYRMCC Founders Day 2026.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience the action from the best seat in the house, now’s your chance! You’ll be right on the edge of the track.

MAY STEEL MEMORIAL

As the sun begins to set on Founders Day 2026, all eyes will turn to the day’s final and most prestigious feature event - The May Steel Memorial.

🔥 The Top 12 riders from the Open Unlimited class will line up behind the tapes for a thrilling 6-lap showdown around the speedway track.

🏍️ Stationary start on dirt.
🏁 Six laps.
💥 One rider will etch their name into Ayr Motorcycle Club history.

This isn’t just another race. It’s a tribute to the pioneers who helped shape our club and a celebration of the spirit, determination and passion that continues to drive Dirt Track racing today.

Expect full throttle, bar-to-bar action and no holding back as the best Open Unlimited riders battle it out for one of the most respected honours on the Ayr Motorcycle Club calendar.

The future of Dirt Track takes centre stage this Founders Day 2026 as the best young talent battles it out for one of the club’s most prestigious junior honours.

🔥 The Hyne/Taylor Shield will see the Top 12 Junior 250cc riders go head-to-head in a thrilling 6-lap feature race around the speedway track.

As part of Ayr Motorcycle Club Founders Day 2026, we’re proud to honour one of the great supporters of our club and the sport we love with The Bill Smith Memorial Invitational Feature Race.
