Hi all!

It's great to see so many people keen to play touch this year!

Could all team captains/ coordinators please send through their team lists to this page ASAP so that we can look to confirm numbers and the comp with NSW touch in preparation for a start on Tuesday 13th October (games will be Tuesday nights). Teams should have a maximum of 14 people registered. Please keep in mind that 2 ladies or children under the age of 14 need to be on the field at any one time. Senior touch is limited to High school aged children onwards.

We will also commence junior touch that week and get all interested to kids to come along on the 13th and we will put kids in to teams to ensure all teams are competitive and evenly distributed.

⭐️Post update: We are keen to get a junior comp up and running as well in conjunction with the senior competition. The junior comp will be for primary school aged children. Melissa Knight has kindly offered her assistance, knowledge and skills though parents/ carers will also be required to help in the running of this.

The senior comp will be for High School aged children through to adults. Team numbers are capped at 14 people though there are 7 on the field at once with 2 x women or children aged 14 and under required to be on the field at all times.

Braidwood touch football is looking for a new committee to get this years summer competition up and running. There has already been quite a bit of interest about when the comp will start though it just needs a couple of people to put the work in to the organisation and running of the comp.

The 2024/2025 Braidwood Touch Football premiers are....... Hydrocon!

Congratulations to Lazer Electrical who did their best against what has been the team to beat, for the past 2 seasons!
It was a fairly even comp right through until then end and could have gone either way.

A massive thank you to Andrew Moran (Fats) who mowed and line marked the oval the last minute in the rain yesterday.

A big thank you also to Melissa Knight, Nick Harton, Tim Moffitt, George Sherriff, Damien Bigg and all the other parents that got in and helped run the junior touch each and every week. I think by the numbers that our junior touch has seen each and every week, touch is here to stay in Braidwoood! 🏉👌🌟

🏉 Grand Final Touch 🏉

🌟 Junior touch from 5:30pm Tuesday night

🌟6:30pm GF: Hydrocon vs Laser Electrical

There will be a free Bbq for all registered junior and senior players (a small cost for siblings/parents and carers) at the conclusion of Junior touch, running through the senior GF.

We encourage all players from this comp to come down to support and watch the final contest for the season and enjoy a
Sausages sandwich on us.
A small end of season presentation will be held at the conclusion of the GF game. 🥪 🧅 🥤

Second last week of Junior touch from 5:30pm today! If we could please have some parent helpers, that would be much appreciated.

Senior touch Semi Finals at 6:15pm!

Hydrocon vs BCS (Majors creek to supply 2 x refs and a scorer please)

Lazer Electrical vs Home Green (Harton Livestock to provide 2 x ref's and a scorer please)

Grand final to be played at 6:15pm next Tuesday with junior touch prior and a Bbq dinner provided for all players (small cost to families and parents) 👍👍
