A FRESH START
We marked the first frosty week with a session led by Master James Sheedy. It is always a privilege to learn directly from Sensei Jim.
Two and a half hours in 2-degree conditions; strengthening both body and mind, while taking away valuable insights and sharpening our technical understanding.

DECEMBER GRADINGS 2025 🌟🥋
Last Saturday marked another exciting milestone for our Braidwood Dojo. Five of our Braidwood Seniors underwent a challenging 1st Grade Grading. The room was filled with focus, determination and indomitable spirit. Congratulations all.

SUPER KIDS LIGHT UP 🌟
A fantastic display of spirit, skill and courage at our recent Super Kids Grading. This was a celebration of the hard work, commitment and self-discipline each student has shown throughout the year. Rarely missing a class and always giving their best - well done!

MAKING HISTORY 🖤🥋🌟
History has been made with our very first Blackbelt Grading.
A huge congratulations to Evie Clark, who at just 13 years of age demonstrated the fortitude, courage and spirit required to earn the coveted rank of 1st Degree Black Belt. This is an incredible achievement. We would like to acknowledge and thank Master James Sheedy for his guidance and support, and everyone in the JSPD community who has helped Evie throughout her journey so far.
Well done, Evie - you have set the standard for those who follow! 🖤🥋🌟

We are opening our doors and inviting the community to witness our first Braidwood Blackbelt Grading.
Our Seniors will be on the mats from 9am followed by Evie Clark who will attempt our Coveted Blackbelt Examination from approximately 11-11:30am. All welcome 🌟

It is with great pleasure to announce that JSPD in BRAIDWOOD will be celebrating their 1st Blackbelt Grading this Saturday 13th December, with Evie Clark being the 1st to attempt our Coveted Blackbelt Examination for this region. All the Braidwood community are invited to witness this extraordinary event. We wish Evie all the best for her Examination.

We had a full day of classes today, with the first commencing at 5am and the last finishing at 6:15pm (pictured here). Every class had a great energy, and lots of smiling faces!

BENNY THE JET SEMINAR 2025 - BRAIDWOOD
We are still buzzing from the recent Benny ‘The Jet’ Urquidez Seminar that took place at our Braidwood location. Not only did we learn new skills, we were privileged to learn from Sensei Benny’s wisdom and experience too. A great opportunity, with participants travelling from as far as Brisbane and Batemans Bay to join us. We hope to welcome Sensei Benny Urquidez back to Braidwood in 2026 for the third year in a row! 🌟
