🚐 THE TRANSIT LIVES! BOOKINGS OPEN FOR JULY!🚐

After:

rebuilt gearbox
new synchros
new bearings
new 2nd gear
solid flywheel conversion
new clutch
..the shuttle van is finally back on the road.

Huge thanks to Sam and the team at Tyrepower Plympton for keeping us updated throughout the process and getting everything sorted properly.

The Transit is currently on light duties while everything beds in (apparently towing 29 bikes immediately is "not recommended"... 😆), but Fox Creek shuttles are back on the weekend!

It's amazing what can be achieved when someone diagnoses the actual problem instead of just replacing parts and presenting increasingly impressive invoices. After several previous attempts elsewhere, it's nice to finally have a gearbox that selects 3rd gear without requiring prayer, negotiation and a favourable tailwind.

One theme keeps coming up: travellers are increasingly discovering tours and experiences through AI-powered search and recommendations, not just traditional Google searches.

For a small South Australian operator like Escapegoat Adventures, that's both exciting and a little challenging. It means great experiences, strong reviews and useful content matter more than ever.

I've spent the last couple of days talking with tourism operators from around Australia and overseas, exploring how businesses can better connect with travellers in a rapidly changing digital world.

Looking forward to bringing a few new ideas home to Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills.
