🏐 Elite Weekly Round Up 🏐
Another big week of representative netball for Beenleigh, with our Opens, U17s and Mixed teams all taking the court across GBNL and EPL competitions.
💗 GBNL Opens vs QC Open Black
The Opens delivered one of their strongest performances of the season, matching QC Open Black throughout the contest. The game was fiercely competitive, with both teams trading goals and momentum shifts across all four quarters. Despite a determined effort and plenty of fight, the Opens narrowly fell short 55–49. The result doesn’t reflect the passion, commitment and determination shown by the team, who pushed a quality opposition right to the final whistle.
💗 EPL U17s vs Tweed Netball Association
Our U17s came up against a strong and experienced Tweed outfit. While the scoreboard wasn’t in our favour, the girls never stopped working for each other and continued to battle through every quarter. The game provided valuable learning opportunities and highlighted areas for growth as the squad continues to develop throughout the season. Every challenge is another step forward in their representative journey.
💗 EPL Mixed vs Tweed Mixed EPL
A dominant performance from our Mixed side saw them secure a convincing 57–35 victory. From the opening whistle, the team applied pressure across the court, converted opportunities efficiently, and maintained their intensity for all four quarters. It was a complete team effort, with everyone contributing to an impressive win and continuing their strong start to the season.
