🏁2025-26 Season Recap🏁

What a season it was, After 3 years of building our family sprintcar team it was cool to finally get behide the wheel, I had 2 bad nights this season which caused a lot of damage and ultimately shorten and almost finished our season.
The V9 hit the track 8 times this season and every time we did the car was fast, Competed in 7 LS/360 shows finishing on the podium 5 times and one 410 show where we got a top 10.
Also got to drive the Ken & Benisa Hutchins D7 and get a top 10 in the classic👌

As cool as it was to drive the family car all season nothing was more fun then seeing Darren, Brocky, Mathew and Caleb having a skid in the V9 at Avalon Raceway, They definitely helped the V9 hit the track so was cool to see them enjoy it first hand👌

🥈2nd place at the Diggers Cup & Victorian Title at Avalon Raceway🥈

What a way to finish out our season in the V9 sprintcar,

Started the night out well with a heat win and moving forward in our second heat. Allowing us to qualify up the front end of the A, where we had good car speed and battled it out for 30 laps, ultimately falling one spot short.

This second place finish also allowed us to clinch the 360/LS SRA Victoria Sprintcar Series. What an honour to be able to win 2 SRA series over 2 years across the 2 separate divisions.
Well done to Koby and Matt to keeping me honest all year, consistent clean racing is always fun to be apart of.

Back in the seat this weekend for Diggers Cup at Avalon Raceway, Hoping to finish the season with a solid result!

Such a cool event definitely one you won't want to miss, The Diggers Cup was also the first race i did in a sprintcar 5 years ago. Got to achieve some pretty cool things since then.

🥉3rd place at Avalon Raceway🥉

Had a good night in the V9 sprintcar, After going through a rough patch for the last couple of meetings.
The car had really good speed all night and we got close to the leaders on the last couple of laps to fight for the win, But unfortunately I got boxed in approaching lap traffic, Overall very happy to be on the podium once again, This weekend I'll be at Redline Raceway for Round 8 of the SRA Victoria LS/360 sprintcar series.

Rough night in the V9

Was good to be back in the family car at Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway, But it was one of them nights, Had trouble starting the car which was a battery (Big Thankyou to Koby Noonan for his spare to keep us going)

Then while leading my 2nd heat my side board fell off the wing, Which set us up to start 11th in the B-main, Car was fast and got the win, But during the B-main the steering box wasn't feeling good. (Another big thankyou to Brad Foster for lending me a steering box)
In the A-main I then hit a bump going into turn one only a handful of laps in and the car broke when it come back down and then made contact with the wall resulting in major damage to the brand new car. At this stage we are trying our best to get the car back going to finish off the remainder off the season.

Updated schedule to finish off the season

Back in the V9 this Saturday night at Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway apart of the 360/LS SRA Victoria Sprintcar Series.

Unfortunately our schedule has taken a bit of a hit with a few rain outs earlier on in the season, Now I have decided not to go to a few races that we had hoped to attended, because of lack of spare parts and funding to get there, unfortunately this sport is not cheap and rebuilding the car after Simpson has taken a toll. We’ve decided to focus on the series meaning I have 4 more races to finish the season off, hopefully we can end on a high.

Australian title over before it really begun

Unfortunately a mistake in qualifying took us out of contention for a a strong result, After hitting the wall and knocking the front end out and doing damage to the rear end I qualified last in my qualifying group,

Did 2 heat races moved forward in both with help from a few cars getting caught up in accidents, But ultimately we are just to buried in points to make anything happen, So we have decided to not race the final night.

Can't thank this D7 team enough Ken & Benisa, Paul Solomon and everyone else that came to help out, Apologies to everyone that went out of there way to get this D7 on track for it to be over so soon

Was really cool to get the opportunity to drive a 410 sprintcar again, Hopefully there is a next time

V9 is back together

Can't thank everyone enough for offering to help get the family car back on track. So many generous people in the speedway community

Big thanks to Brock at Rae Built, For sponsoring me a chassis when I was putting our budget sprintcar team together. Also to all of my other sponsors that keep our team at the race track.

The V9 Ls will be back on track on the 14th of February at Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway.
But first we have 2 nights of the 410 Australian title in the D7 starting tomorrow night.
