Great hitting yesterday Fellas !! . Looking forward to next Saturday. Highton has shown great sportsmanship and quality in the last few matches with us. Hence, it will be a fantastic day.

🎾 Super impressive win by our Section 1 Men’s team today against Grovedale, winning 4 sets to 0! They played with determination, good sportsmanship and represented the Bannockburn Tennis Club with pride. 👏🎾

🏆 They will play in the Grand Final next Saturday at 1pm against Highton. (At Highton.) Good luck and enjoy the day!!

Very proud of you girls for showing your best efforts, excellent attitude and wonderful sportsmanship on the courts yesterday.

🎾 Commiserations to our Section 3 Girls team, who went down to Western Heights today.

But this is what tennis is all about…

After the match, Western Heights invited our girls into their clubrooms for morning tea, returning the wonderful gesture after our Bannockburn team had done the same for them earlier in the season. A fantastic display of sportsmanship, friendship and hospitality. 👏

Tennis is about so much more than winning and losing. It’s also about having fun and building friendships. 🥰

And this is one of the reasons so many juniors continue playing tennis as they get older. 🎾

Well done on a great season, we look forward to seeing you all back on the court and loving your tennis over the upcoming summer season. 😎

This event will still be on tomorrow regardless of weather, as we have the YMCA gymnasium booked just in case.

Tennis Geelong initiative to encourage women coming back to tennis and have a go. Food and nibbles will be provided. Kids and adults are welcome.

Congratulations to Alexander for representing in Team Barwon to play in the Frank Sedgman Cup @ Traralgon 11&Under on 29th & 30th June. Enjoy competing and try your best. Well done on your hard work!. Can't wait to see some great tennis from many of the best young players in Vic.
