2026 WA Country Championships are underway this weekend in Exmouth. Referees have gathered from across WA to manage the action and undertake learning in a tournament environment. Good luck especially to those participating in their first event and stay tuned for more details as the event rolls on.

Congratulations to our referees who travelled across to the Northern Territory to referee the NT Champs. Amazing weather and smiles all round. So great that we can help out and make the travel across, building relationships whilst doing what we love.
Congrats to all that were awarded finals with a great representation from our WA contingent.

One of the largest group ever to represent WA at 2026 The Championships. All 19 refs are still running at the start of day 3. Our (potential) upgrades have all been performing extremely well, continually impressing. Our veterans have been leading from the front as usual. Great to have such a supportive group all together at Coffs Harbour. Well done everyone. 2 more days to go!!

***Fundraising Announcement - Sheriffs and supporting Breast Cancer Care WA - 2026 WA State Championships***

The past weekend our referees kindly shared funny stories, crazy situations and contributed funds each day to a great cause - Breast Cancer Care WA. Paul Richardson provided a few words on Saturday morning highlighting the importance of both men and women being aware, seeking advice and support when needed. Many people also shared their lived experience throughout the weekend.

We can announce that our referees this year raised $1,525.00 for Breast Cancer Care WA. A truly amazing effort and we thank each and every one of you for your support over the weekend.
