🏁 INTERNATIONAL DEBUT FOR JAX FULLER 🏁

The Rockhampton Kart Club would like to wish rising young talent Jax Fuller and his support team all the very best as he begins his international racing career today in Macau at the prestigious Inf1nity IAME Series Asia

Jax will proudly represent Queensland in the incredibly competitive Junior category as he takes on some of Asia’s best young drivers on the international stage 🌏🏁

This is what karting is all about — stepping outside the comfort zone, chasing bigger opportunities, gaining experience, and continuing to grow both on and off the track. The amount of preparation and dedication that has gone into this opportunity has been enormous, and everyone at the club is incredibly proud to see one of our own competing internationally.

Good luck Jax — the entire Rockhampton karting community is behind you all the way! 💪🔥

RACEDAY RESULTS

Round 3 at the Rockhampton Kart Club delivered another strong day of racing at Fitzroy Park Raceway, with 35 nominations taking to the track for a fast and entertaining meeting.
While numbers were slightly down on previous rounds, it was understandable given the clash with the Australian Kart Championship in Ipswich and the huge crowds drawn to the NRL Magic Round in Brisbane.

Despite the smaller field, the quality of racing certainly didn’t disappoint. Fitzroy Park Raceway produced action-packed racing throughout the day, with close battles, bold overtaking moves and intense competition across every class.

Drivers kept spectators on edge with fast-paced racing from the opening heats right through to the finals.

The track conditions allowed for plenty of passing opportunities, and competitors made the most of it, putting on a fantastic show that highlighted the depth of talent within the club. From seasoned front-runners to emerging young drivers, every class delivered exciting moments and hard-fought battles.

We thank Poppies Cafe for supporting the club with prizes for our junior competitors, and Pearce Garage for coming onboard and providing prizes for the senior competitors

Another huge thank you goes to all drivers, teams, volunteers and supporters who helped make Round 3 another successful event for the club.

Round 2 Results at the Rockhampton Kart Club on April 26, 2026 delivered exactly what you want from grassroots racing—tight battles, clean conditions, and intensity from the first green flag to the final lap.

The weather played its part perfectly. Skies stayed clear and the track remained dry throughout the day, with any looming clouds holding off until after racing wrapped up. That meant drivers could push hard with confidence, with the track cooling lap times reflected it across sessions.

On track, the racing was relentless. Across multiple classes, it was wheel-to-wheel from lights out, with drivers trading positions lap after lap. Overtakes were being set up corners in advance, with bold moves under braking and switchbacks on corner exit keeping spectators locked in. No one was giving an inch, but the racing remained respectful—hard but fair.

The midfield battles were just as fierce as the fights at the front, with packs of karts running nose-to-tail, capitalizing on any small mistake. Drafting down the straights and late braking into key corners created constant position changes, making every lap count.

By the finals, the intensity stepped up another level. Drivers who had been trading blows all day brought everything together, producing some of the closest finishes of the round. Consistency and racecraft proved just as important as outright speed, with those able to stay composed under pressure coming out on top.

Overall, Round 2 was a standout day of racing—fast, fierce, and packed with action from start to finish. With conditions holding strong and competition this tight, it set a high benchmark for the rest of the season
