End of the PWA Classical Challenge - the full Classical Order.
No trending audio on this one. Just April’s cues, left in exactly as she gave them 🎧🤍
Listen closely and you’ll notice how simple they’ve become.
After five weeks of learning, layering and repeating the same exercises, Week 6 was about bringing it all together. We spent the week moving through the Classical order… well, our slightly shorter PWA version because our classes aren’t 90 minutes long 😂
Starting with footwork (which didn’t make the cut because Instagram only gives us 20 slides 🫠), we worked through the order with reps instead of layers, less talking and simpler cues. *Opening slide was in the middle of the class, not at the beginning but this was so impressive and controlled we had to start with it.
By this point, we call the exercise and the room finds it. That’s not us going easy on the cues. That’s five weeks of repetition until their bodies know where they need to be ✨
And we are SO proud of this group.
Six weeks in, the difference is impossible to miss. More strength, more control and so much more confidence in exercises that felt completely foreign back in Week 1.
This is why we run the Classical Challenge every year 🤍 It’s not about learning more exercises. It’s about learning your own body within them. Building proprioception, understanding safe entries and exits, and finding the full expression of an exercise without needing someone to talk you through every second.
Even our cueing gets simpler by Week 6.
That’s the whole point 🥹🤍
We can’t wait for the next round.
