What a weekend,I definitely don’t make things easy for myself, but that just makes the wins sweeter! Starting at the back of the pack in Supersport 300, I had to really push through. I managed to battle my way into the front group a couple of times and finished 8th and 6th not too shabby considering!

The R3 Cup was a completely different story, much more even with all the bikes on par. That’s where I really found my stride, snagging a couple of podiums: 3rd in Race 2 🥉 and 2nd in Race 3 🥈, right behind my teammate Matthew Ritter! Honestly, I couldn’t be prouder of the whole Megacycle Team, Ken Onus, and Trevor, not to mention all my Dad’s Iain McAdam hard work. I really had to dig deep this weekend !

What a wild start to the ASBK National Championship weekend!

R3 Cup - Q1: Kicked things off, but ended up 8th. Had a bit of a moment when I got black flagged because of my transponder totally lost momentum there. Missing part of the season meant I was playing catch-up, but luckily, there’s another qualifier tomorrow!

SSP300 - Q1: Not my strongest start. I was trying out a different setup on my wet bike, and while I started to chip away at the times, everyone else was just flying. Finished 12th, so definitely looking to improve.

Qualifying Recap:
R3 Cup: Qualified 8th
SSP300: Qualified 10th
Super tight out there, only 0.4 seconds separated a bunch of us!

Race 1 - Supersport 300: Managed to grab 8th place! Happy to finish, but you know I’m always pushing to move further up the grid.

R3 Cup Race 1 : This was a solid start for me! I got up to 3rd place, which felt awesome, but then I missed a gear. Got back on it quickly and kept pushing, finishing 10th.

Ready for more action tomorrow! Got two more races in each class, so plenty of chances to make some moves. You can catch all the live action on the ASBK website and on TV SBS, plus live timing at www.computime.com.au.

Wow, still buzzing from the ASBK National Championship weekend! Seriously blown away by my new custom kangaroo leather suit. It’s ridiculously soft and so light, I barely even feel it on track. The amount of compliments I’ve been getting is insane! If you’re chasing an affordable custom leather suit with any wild design you can dream up .. like my dripping paint look in my favorite colours, plus my race number and all my sponsors . Then you HAVE to hit up Khan @ moto_martau. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Go give him a follow and chat about your next suit, you won’t regret it!

Friday at Morgan Park was a wet and wild free practice Friday. The track definitely lived up to its reputation, but I’m happy with how the sessions went. We managed to iron out a few kinks and I’m feeling good about it.
