💛💚🚨 OUR 5TH AURORAS ALERT! 🚨 💚💛🇦🇺

Forza is incredibly proud to announce that Mark Kusin has been selected into the ParaDragon Division Auroras Training Squad for the 2026–2027 campaign! 🐉💪

As a ParaDragon and Aurora veteran, Mark brings a wealth of experience, resilience and determination to this campaign as he works towards earning his place in the boat for the 2027 IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Hong Kong. 🇭🇰

Mark’s contribution to dragon boating spans more than three decades. Since starting in 1993, he has represented WA 11 times, represented Australia twice and won his first National gold medal in 1995. 🥇🐉

An Aurora veteran, a ParaDragon trailblazer, AusDBF Disability Ambassador, and an absolute powerhouse of experience, Mark continues to show what commitment, courage and longevity in this sport look like. His contribution extends well beyond the boat, and we’re thrilled to see him back chasing another green and gold campaign. 💚💛

Selection into the training squad is a fantastic achievement, but there’s still plenty of work ahead. Mark is ready to meet the challenge head-on. 🔥

Following a tough selection process, Duncan now takes the next step on the Australian pathway as he continues working towards earning a seat in the boat for the 2027 IDBF World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Hong Kong. 🇭🇰

A long-time paddler, Duncan brings strength, enthusiasm and great energy to Forza. He loves his dragon boating, gets stuck into the training and brings plenty of good vibes along for the ride. 💪🐉

With a long history in dragon boating, Karen brings experience, determination and a genuine love of the sport to everything she does. She gets on with the work without needing to make a fuss about it, and behind her kind and considerate nature is an athlete with plenty of determination and a clear drive to keep challenging herself. 💪🐉

💛💚🚨 AURORA ALERT – MILLIE RYAN 🚨💚💛

Forza Dragon Boat Club is incredibly proud to congratulate Millie Ryan, who has been selected to progress to the next stage of the Australian Auroras selection process in the Premier division! 🇦🇺🐉

Millie will travel to Penrith later this month where she’ll continue to put herself to the test alongside paddlers from across Australia.

Millie’s enthusiasm and energy are a huge part of who she is as both a paddler and a Forza member. She consistently shows up, puts in the work and embraces every opportunity to improve 💪🔥

Representing Forza at this level is a fantastic achievement, and we are extremely proud to see another one of our paddlers taking on the challenge of the Aurora pathway🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺.
