2026 WORLD CUP- Off SIDE

Did you spot the off side between Korean Republic and Czech Republic??
A pivotal offside call occurred in the 77th minute when West Ham's Tomás Soucek had a potential go-ahead header for the Czechs disallowed by the assistant referee.

Let’s talk offside!!!

The simplest definition of offside: When the ball is passed, the receiving player must have at least two players from the opposing team between them and the goal.
If the receiving player is past the last defender (referring to the last field player, not the goalkeeper) when they receive the ball, they are offside.

Just a reminder that the U12s are playing the offside rule this season. This is for player development as they transition into FIFA in the coming years.
