Gday all, by now you should have received your membership application forms via email for the coming season.
If you haven't or you know of someone who wants to join, they can either email the club on [email protected] or have them come down to the club on Friday nights where membership forms will be available for them/you to complete

Starting Friday 2nd October drawn at 6.30pm $2 per ticket
ABBC will be running a competition on Friday nights, but you have to be there to win it
It will be a locked box with 8 keys
Win the raffle for your chance to pick one of 8 keys if you open the lock you win the cash,
If not then it jackpots $50 per week
So come on down have a roll or a drink and join in the fun at the den

Still thinking about giving bowls a try?

Come on down to the club on a Friday night from 4pm. The heaters are on, beer is cold and if weather permits, the bowls will be rolling!

You dont need to bring anything, just yourself and a fun can do attitude. 😃

Was down at the club having a roll when a couple of ladies popped in this morning. Turns out it was Elma Louw and Claire Cowan from South Africa.
I watched Elma play her game on the live stream at OG in the World Indoor Bowls Championships against Amy from Wales, winning in a close tie breaker.

Anyway, had a great chat, they are on their way around the GOR, enjoying our area.

Thanks for the visit girls. 😄

A reminder to all

The ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Apollo Bay Bowls Club Inc will be held on Sunday 31st May at 2pm in the club rooms

Vacant positions include:
President
Secretary
Treasurer
Board Members as well as all sub committee positions.

Nomination forms have been mailed to all members and are also available at the club rooms.
Please return nomination forms to the ballot box outside the rooms by Sunday 24th May, 6pm. No nominations will be taken from the floor at the AGM.

Please consider what position you could take on at your club and remember, "MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK".
