A huge congratulations to the Socceroos on their fantastic win today — a brilliant performance that made Australia proud.

We also want to wish Die Mannschaft all the very best for their match tonight against Curaçao. We’re right behind them and excited for what’s ahead.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Oliver Miller, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, surrounded by his family, aged 58.

Oliver was an exceptional supporter of the Bund der Bayern through his role as Manager at Häfele.

His generosity and enthusiasm strengthened our community in countless ways — from sponsoring raffle prizes, to hosting Oktoberfest events in the Häfele showrooms, to partnering with Adelaide German Week for two wonderful cooking nights in 2022 and 2023.

We will also remember Oliver for his calm, steady nature — including the day our Group Leader, Reinhard, got a little too enthusiastic during a Schuhplattler performance in 2021 and crashed straight through one of Häfele’s display pieces after dancing on a kitchen benchtop. Oliver handled the moment with his trademark humour, patience, and kindness.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family.
