🐬 Dolphins Debut! 🐬

What a night for our South Aussie swimmers on Day 4! 🌟

A special congratulations to Molly Walker, who capped off a brilliant evening with her Dolphins debut in an SA Record time in the 800m Freestyle.

They say good things come in threes, and tonight was no exception:
πŸ₯‰ 3 swimmers achieved qualifying times for both the Commonwealth Games and Pan Pacific Championships.
πŸ₯‰ 3 Australian Championship medallists.
πŸ₯‰ Countless outstanding performances from our South Australian athletes.

Congratulations to all swimmers and coaches on another fantastic night of racing. Keep the momentum rolling! πŸ’ͺπŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

We are past halfway. Night 4 of the 2026 Australian Swimming Trials runs tonight at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, and four South Australians have made finals.

Brittany Castelluzzo (Tea Tree Gully) is into the A Final of the Womens 200m Butterfly at 8.13pm, and she qualified second fastest behind only Elizabeth Dekkers. Castelluzzo holds the South Australian record at 2:06.86, so a swim near her best puts her on the podium and within reach of her own mark.

Matthew Temple (Marion) and Kyle Chalmers (Marion) both made the A Final of the Mens 100m Freestyle at 8.25pm, seeded third and fourth fastest in lanes 3 and 6. Chalmers holds the SA record at 47.08, and the pair line up in a quick field led by Flynn Southam.

Molly Walker (Southern Performance) closes the night in the Womens 800m Freestyle timed final at 8.58pm, racing alongside Australian record holder Lani Pallister. Walker holds the South Australian record at 8:29.58 and is seeded right on it, so anything quicker tonight is a new mark.
