Great to see Sam Hill featured in The Advertiser and sharing her excitement about being involved in The Radiant at Port Pirie. It’s fantastic to see the anticipation building for South Australia’s first slot race, an exciting new chapter for harness racing in SA.

Port Pirie will host South Australia’s first ever slot race in October, with 20 horses to compete for a spot in The Radiant – a harness race worth $100,000.

FRESH from a pair of successful interstate raids, Zac Pearson is hoping for better luck in his home state this weekend.
Pearson crossed the border with Keayang Hungry to score in Horsham on July 27 before a return visit netted a win in Hamilton a fortnight later.

Understanding HRSA’s Prohibited-Substance Sampling Process
HRSA routinely conducts testing at race meetings, trials and out of competition. Samples may include blood, urine, saliva, or hair and are securely sealed and sent under documented chain-of-custody arrangements to Racing Analytical Services Limited for analysis. The selection of a horse for sampling does not mean that a prohibited substance has been detected or that any participant is suspected of wrongdoing. Where a laboratory result may disclose a breach of the Australian Harness Racing Rules, HRSA will notify the relevant person, commence an inquiry where appropriate and publish official information through its established processes. South Australia’s premier reinsman Wayne Hill celebrated his selection for the Australian Drivers Championship with a handful of winners at Globe Derby Park on Saturday.
It followed a driving double at Mildura on Friday, giving him seven winners in just over 24 hours.
