One drill, five clubs, five different delivery patterns.
The goal is simple: strike the ball without touching the towel behind it.
As the clubs get longer (PW → 8 iron → 6 iron → 4 iron → 3 wood), notice how the ball is placed progressively further away from the towel. Your attack angle becomes shallower and your low point moves closer to the golf ball with longer clubs.
With a wedge, you’re looking for a steeper strike with the low point well ahead of the ball. As the club gets longer, the strike naturally becomes flatter and the low point isn’t as far forward.
