The Zambia Correctional Service (ZCS) has noted with serious concern the circulation of fake recruitment advertisements and fraudulent messages on social media platforms and other unofficial channels, purporting to offer employment into the Service.
The Service wishes to strongly caution members of the public that Zambia Correctional Service recruitment is never conducted through private messages, WhatsApp groups, SMS, or individuals, and no money is ever charged at any stage of the recruitment process.
It is imperative to note that the Service has not issued any Recruitment advertisement.

โข No Fees: The Zambia Correctional Service does not charge any fees for application, interviews, medical examinations, or issuance of acceptance letters.
โข Official Channels Only: All recruitment exercises are formally announced through official Government media, including national newspapers, radio, television, and the official Zambia Correctional Service communication platforms.
โข Beware of Scammers: Any request for money, personal details, or promises of recruitment made through social media, phone calls, or unofficial platforms should be treated as fraudulent and criminal.

Members of the public are strongly warned not to engage with individuals or pages claiming to offer recruitment into the Zambia Correctional Service outside official announcements.
Such acts are scams intended to defraud and mislead, and those found engaging in them risk legal consequences.

The Zambia Correctional Service also reminds its officers and the general public that:
โข Officers are expected to uphold the highest standards of discipline, professionalism, and integrity at all times, particularly when in uniform.
โข Unprofessional conduct,Fraudulent activities ,including intoxication while in uniform or involvement in active politics, is strictly prohibited and will attract disciplinary acti inon.
