SEASON REFLECTION | 2025/2026 Promotional League 🖤💛
What a season.
After a disappointing 2024/2025 Promotional League campaign, the focus from our technical team was clear: rebuild. We drafted talent from the Super League squad and brought in new players. That vision paid dividends.
January 2026: BVLFA Promo Cup Final. Our boys lost on penalties in a final that could’ve gone either way. Heartbreak, but a sign of what was coming.
The league start was slow — 3 losses and a draw in Round 1. Then a painful home loss in the first match of Round 2. That became our turning point. From there, something beautiful started. An unbeaten run built on grit, belief, and growth. A run only ended today, away at Juventus, 1-2, in our final league fixture. Well done Juventus ,well played .
We finished 3rd in Stream A. Not where we wanted, but exactly where this group earned.
Hard luck today, gentlemen. You made the club proud. You made your supporters proud. The way you fought back. The way you never gave up. The way you inspired. Your performances brought new fans through the gates from out of town.
Well done, boys. You are AWESOME.
This is just the beginning. We learn. We build. We come back stronger.
