THEMBISA - Golden Boys and Tembisa Poison emerged as champions in the Under 11 and Under 15 divisions, respectively, at the Lima 8 tournament held at Welamlambo Sports Ground over the weekend, while the Under 13 division also featured competitive action.

Golden Boys clinched the Under 11 title on Saturday, 17 October 2026, defeating Bollox United 2-0 in the final. They reached the decider after beating Classic 3-2 in the semi-finals, capping off an impressive run to the championship.

In the Under 15 division on Sunday, 18 October, Tembisa Poison secured the title with a convincing 3-0 victory over Phoenix Rangers in the final. Poison had earlier overcome Golden Boys 3-2 in the semi-finals to book their place in the decider.

The Under 13 Final League Stream A and B divisions also produced action, with Golden Boys defeating School of Cheezz 2-1 in the recorded result. The result added to the weekend's football programme, giving young players another opportunity to demonstrate their skills and compete against their peers.

The tournament brought together young footballers across the age groups, showcasing grassroots talent and the importance of providing local players with platforms to develop their abilities through competitive football.

Congratulations to Golden Boys and Tembisa Poison on their respective championships, and well done to all participating teams for contributing to the Lima 8 tournament.
