🏆 RACE REPORT: Unstoppable Pace & Perfect Ex*****on Deliver Double Victory!
What a weekend of pure emotion, rapid problem-solving, and ultimate performance! From early Friday heartbreak to standing on the top step of the podium twice on Saturday, this race weekend had absolutely everything.
🔧 Friday Practice: Overcoming Early Drama
We rolled out for Friday's first practice session ready to put down baseline laps, but motorsport had other plans. Just one lap in, a broken turbo manifold brought our session to an abrupt halt.
The team kicked into high gear immediately—we rushed the manifold straight to the engineer for urgent repair work. Thanks to lightning-fast turn-around, we made it back to the track just in time for the final practice session. With everything bolted back together, we hit the tarmac and immediately dropped a brilliant lap time, proving the car had the pace to contend.
🌧️ Saturday Qualifying: Masterclass in the Wet
Saturday morning brought wet conditions and a greasy track, forcing us to bolt on the wet weather tires for a tense 15-minute qualifying session. Traffic was tough to navigate in the spray, but all it took was one clear lap—we laid it all on the line and snatched POLE POSITION!
🏁 Heat 1: Fightback & Precision Strategy
Conditions: Wet track, drying line emerging
Result: 🥇 P1 (WIN)
With the track slowly drying out under wet setup, strategy was key. We lost the lead briefly into Turn 4 as conditions shifted, but a red flag was soon thrown for an oil spill in Turn 1.
On the restart, we nailed the launch, broke away from the chasing pack, and calculatedly managed our pace to cross the line for a hard-earned Race 1 Victory!
🏁 Heat 2: Inverted Grid, Pure Control
Starting Position: Reverse Grid / Pole Invert
Result: 🥇 P1 (WIN)
Starting further back due to the reverse grid rule, we knew we had to make moves early. We launched hard off the line, made a brave move into Turn 1 to grab the lead, and never looked back. From there, it was all about hit-your-marks consistency and total control to manage the gap all the way to the checkered flag—securing a clean sweep for the weekend!
