Designed by the famous golf player Bernhard Langer, the golf club is accessible to players of all levels. The course covers 38 hectares on the southern half of the Ile aux Cerfs island with the holes snaking up and down the length of the island, boasting naturally undulating topography, volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and gullies, and a variety of tropical trees and plants.

The championship golf club went through major changes since 2013 to ensure a greater experience in terms of playability and spectacular views; with the holes snaking up and down the length of the island. Most holes have views of the ocean – some with glimpses across clearings through the trees; others by coming close to the shore. This 27-hole golf complex which was designed by Peter Matkovich and opened in 2004, comprises an 18 hole championship golf course, a 9 hole Par 3 course, exceptional practice facilities, golf academy, clubhouse, restaurant and golf shop. With 5 teeing options on each hole, golfers of all levels are catered for.

The course was recently recognized as one of the Top 10 golf courses in Africa, according to global news broadcaster CNN, and in November of 2014 and 2015 claimed the title of “Best golf course in the Indian Ocean” at the World Golf Awards in Portugal.

Wer ab dem 1. Juli 2026 nach Südafrika einreist oder das Land verlässt, muss vor der Reise eine elektronische Zolldeklaration (Traveller Declaration) ausfüllen. Die südafrikanische Steuer- und Zollbehörde SARS (South African Revenue Service) führt dieses neue Online-System ein, um die Zollabfertigung zu vereinfachen und Wartezeiten an den Flughäfen sowie an den Grenzübergängen zu verkürzen.

1. Laden Sie die App herunter (ganz einfach): South African Traveller Management

2. Registrieren Sie sich in der App mit Adresse, Passnummer usw.

3. Die App speichert Ihre Daten, und jedes Mal, wenn Sie oder Ihr Kunde die Grenze passieren, füllen Sie einfach das Formular auf Ihrem Smartphone aus. Es ist wirklich einfach – nichts Neues im Vergleich zu einem Einreiseformular, das Sie mit Stift ausfüllen mussten.

Reiseart – 4 Felder: Reiseart, Ein-/Ausreisehafen, ob es sich um ein internationales oder ein privates Flugzeug handelt und Flugnummer. Alle Felder sind Dropdown-Menüs, außer der Flugnummer.

Reisedaten – die meisten Daten werden automatisch aus Ihrer Registrierung übernommen. Es handelt sich um Standardinformationen wie Passdaten, Geburtsdatum und Kontaktdaten.

Reisedetails – Reisegrund, Abfahrts- und Zielort sowie Datum. Dann anmelden, fertig.

4. Selbst wenn Sie Waren oder Bargeld anmelden müssen, ist das nicht komplizierter als ein Ein-/Ausreiseformular, das Sie ohnehin ausfüllen müssten. Es wird nach der Währungsverwendung (für Sie selbst oder für eine andere Person) und dem Betrag gefragt.

From 1 July 2026, travellers entering or leaving South Africa must submit their traveller declaration online before they travel, unless they qualify for one of the limited paper-based exceptions. The declaration forms part of the Customs process and helps travellers meet their legal obligation to declare goods, currency and other relevant items in their possession

1. Download the App (it’s easy) – South African Traveller Management
2. Register on the app with address and passport number etc.
3. It saves the details and each time you or your customer go through the border, one just completes the form on your phone. It really is simple – nothing NEW from an arrival form you would have to fill in with a pen.
Mode of travel – 4 fields – mode of travel and port of entry/exit and whether it is international aircraft or a private aircraft and flight number. They are all drop downs except the flight number.
Traveller Details – most details are auto populated from your registration. Its normal information, passport details, date of birth, contact details.
Travel Details – reason for travel, travelling from and to / and date.
Then declare and done.
4. Even if you have goods or currency to declare – it is NO more complicated that an arrival/departure form which you would have to fill in. Asks about the currency use (self or someone else), amount.
