Meals can be offered on request and customized according to your requirements. All meals are prepared to order and made with the freshest seasonal ingredients. We also offer romantic picnics in front of the Waterfall - which is an absolute treat. SILVER BIRCH - Open-plan Loft-style living...double bed upstairs and a king-sized bed downstairs. Uniquely decorated with original paintings by the Artist who designed the house. Soak in the restored Victorian bath as you gaze out through the trees.The cozy lounge is centered around a wood-burning fireplace and all beds have down duvets for chilly nights. COPPER ALOE - a “Hobbity” house with a Living Roof overlooking the forest. The uniquely styled lounge centres around a fireplace and features a daybed with a view over the trees. The bath has a view and a watering-can shower - a totally unique experience. The farm-style kitchenette is well equipped and quaint. There is a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and a single day bed in the lounge. An unforgettable encounter with Nature, - the magical beauty will enchant you! Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. WiFi is available at all cottages. The cottages are close enough to each other to allow for flow between them, and they are big enough to congregate together as a larger group. Important details! Winter Quest during Hogsback's CHRISTMAS IN JULY

1) 🧢 Main Quest: Don't ask locals for clues, please. We're sworn to secrecy and will be voted off the mountain if we give in.

2) 🎄 Side Quests: There are 4 Side Quests. They end at 9am on Sunday, so complete them before time runs out. There are fantastic physical prizes for each!

*🦜 Kids quest: Head to the Saturday market!

3) 📸 Photo Quest: Anyone with a phone or camera can enter, as long as the photos are taken during the Winter Quest weekend.

Hogsback’s Christmas in July is our longest running and most supported annual event.

This year it will be 24-26 July, and we're releasing the full and final program on the 10th of July. Regular program highlights & activities include:
The Winter Quest: A free, interactive treasure hunt and village map allowing you & yours to explore Hogsback in the best possible way! We also have several live music performances, whiskey/wine/cheese tastings, dinner dances, markets, competitions for kids & adults, workshops, classes and the fan-favorite Chill Dip Competition (for the truly brave! Brrrr) to name but a few.

It is advised to book your accommodation early, some families book the minute we announce dates (almost a year in advance). Use the Visit Hogsback Accommodation Request form (https://visithogsback.co.za/site/accommodation-request-form/)
