As we end the week, it’s worth remembering that every ending creates space for a new beginning.

Our head may want to hold on to what is familiar, our heart may need time to let go, and our gut may already sense that change is leading us somewhere meaningful. When we allow our thoughts, emotions, and intuition to work together, we begin to see endings differently—not as something to fear, but as an opportunity to grow, learn, and make room for what comes next.

As you step into a new week, reflect on what you are ready to release, what lessons you are grateful for, and what possibilities you are willing to welcome.

Every ending carries the seed of a new beginning. 🌱

Take a breath. Slow down. Ground yourself in what is true, present, and within your reach today.

You do not have to solve everything at once, nor carry tomorrow’s worries before they arrive.

Offer yourself the same kindness and patience you would offer someone you care about.

Be gentle with yourself. The storm will pass.

Rise and Shine!

Whatever today brings, pause for a moment and remember you are stronger than you think and more capable than you know.

We love the ending to this quote by Thich Nhat Hanh —
“Dwelling in the present moment I know this is a wonderful moment.”
So much of life is missed while rushing toward what is next.
Sometimes healing begins simply by fully arriving in this moment.

The Resilience in Starting ~ Inside of the concept of resilience we see something more than just bouncing back, staying the course or overcoming.

We also see resilience as the courage and willingness to start...

To start from the beginning.
To start again.
Or start something completely new.

We see this and everyday we are both moved and inspired by our clients who, everyday and in everyway commit to new possibilities by starting.

The Link Between Inspiration and Change ~
In an earlier post we spoke about the effort required to effect change. Equally as important is inspiration.

We love how American psychologist, Scott Barry Kaufman , put it when he said:
“Inspiration awakens us to new possibilities by allowing us to transcend our ordinary experiences and limitations. Inspiration propels a person from apathy to possibility, and transforms the way we perceive our own capabilities...” *

And so, consider who or what inspires you to remember to stay on course or return to your commitment to change?

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Keeping It Real ~
As we have all experienced when trying to change some aspect of ourselves or our lives – knowing that change is needed is perhaps easier than actually effecting the change required.

Much has been written about what makes change difficult. An important one is the sheer amount of effort and energy it takes – emotionally, biologically and practically – to change from one habit to another. So there is some truth to the adage “The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak…” or just “I’ll start next Monday…”

And so, we need an investment of effort into our change and, given the energy required, the invitation here is to seek support…
We all need support while we change, because we will stumble, grumble, fall and get up again as we learn new habits and change old ones.

So, as you continue or recommit to your practices, your goals and efforts towards change, consider who you trust and who might support you with this process.
And, above all, keep going – Forwards ever. Backwards never.

The Emerging World Order: A Wide Lens on The Impact of Change

We are observing, in real time, future-defining shifts that require leaders of today to respond to change, chaos and complexity in ways for which there may be no precedent.

How leaders make sense of these phenomena is an invitation to be intentionally calm—to read the signals and recognise the opportunities that exist when things shift.

The recent speech by Singapore’s Prime Minister, Lawrence Wong, offers an eloquent perspective on these shifts:

"We have known for some time that the world is in flux. The familiar signposts are fading. But the contours of a new global system have yet to take shape.

So we are in a period of transition – uncertain, unsettled and increasingly unstable…This marks a profound turning point. We are entering a new phase in global affairs…"

Ministerial Statement by Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong of Singapore on the US tariffs and their implications, 8 April 2025.

As a leader, how do you choose to engage with not knowing what the next step should be—and how do you generate new ways forward through the chaos?
