On Saturday, 6 June, Henley Air proudly deployed five helicopters to Swartkop Air Force Base, including a Bell 206 LongRanger, two Bell 222s, and two Bell 230s.

The day was filled with excitement as our pilots and ROCKET aeromedics showcased the renowned ROCKET Mini Air Ambulance, engaging with aviation enthusiasts and supporters throughout the event. The Bell 230 also performed an impressive rescue demonstration, highlighting the capabilities and professionalism of our HEMS operations.

Adding to the spectacle, our iconic Checkers Sixty60-branded Bell 222 delivered a stunning flying display, expertly piloted by none other than our Executive Chairman, Andre Coetzee.

Meanwhile, visitors had the opportunity to experience the thrill of helicopter flight firsthand through our popular helicopter flips, conducted in the Bell 206 LongRanger and Bell 222 helicopters, creating unforgettable memories for many first-time flyers.

Support our Kids’ Flight initiative by purchasing Wait, Rocket Mini!, a charming children’s book written by Brenda Daniels, wife of our ROCKET Chief Pilot, Bruce Daniels. Now available in our ROCKET online shop, the book is being sold to help raise much-needed funds for this important initiative.

Written for preschoolers, the story highlights a real-life rescue helicopter that provides free emergency medical care to indigent children. Best of all, profits from every sale go directly towards supporting Kids’ Flight, helping us continue making a difference in young lives.
