Know your coach… 🦅🏉

Coach Derick “Akker” Brewis….Before he became a rugby coach he was a top wrestling coach as they say a lost for wrestling but a massive gain for rugby.

The Eagles are very privilege to have coach Akker in our midst, starting as a junior coach and in 2026 joining the senior club, he quickly made inroads and will be the head coach of our 2nd team in the 2027 season 🦅🏉

His passion for rugby have no limits and we as the Eagles management wish him luck and buckets full of success for the 2027 season. 🏆🦅🏉

EAGLES RUGBY CLUB 2027 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 🦅

We are proud to announce our 1st Team coaching squad for the 2027 season!

1ST TEAM

● Christiaan Fritz
● Brendan Grobbelaar
● Juan van der Merwe

As management, we have full confidence and belief in this coaching squad. Each coach brings a wealth of experience, a strong commitment to our vision, and, most importantly, a genuine connection to the club — having worn the Eagles jersey themselves.

They understand what it means to represent this logo, uphold our values and be part of something bigger than themselves. We believe this group has what it takes to drive our players forward, build on our foundations and take Eagles Rugby to the next level.

Congratulations to each and every coach! We look forward to the journey ahead and are excited about what we can achieve together.

The vision is set. The squad is in place.

THE HARD WORK STARTS NOW!
