FIRST FOAL OF THE SEASON | CYRUS M53 × LOCHWOOD ALLIER

The first of two very special foals we are expecting at Moorcroft Farm this season is due any day now.

By our stallion Cyrus M53 (Cornet Obolensky × Kannan) out of the 1.35m mare Lochwood Allier (Atlanticus × Bambix).

Cyrus M53 combines Cornet Obolensky and Kannan, currently ranked No. 1 and No. 2 respectively in the WBFSH showjumping sire rankings.

On the dam side, Allier brings performance of her own, having competed successfully at 1.35m, together with one of South Africa’s established jumping families. Her female line traces through Alzu Battante and the wider Mooi Nooi xx family, which has produced numerous international-level showjumpers, including 1.50m and 1.60m performers.

Our season officially closed a few weeks ago, and looking back, it has been an incredible season for Cyrus M53 (Cornet Obolensky x Kannan).
