The land at the bottom of Arbour Road surrounding the GTR start, where the plantation has been cut down, is being transformed into something truly special. A thriving wetland and indigenous forest. Alexander's Great Forest. A living tribute to a boy who loved the outdoors and a legacy that will outlast all of us.🎗️

Trail runners know better than most what wild, green spaces mean. You have run through them, been restored by them and felt the magic they hold. Now it is your turn to give that back.

Buy one tree. Plant two. It is that simple.

For every tree purchased during Arbor Month, an additional indigenous tree will be planted into Alexander's Great Forest completely free. Whether you are buying a tree for your own garden or contributing one directly to the forest, either way two trees go in the ground. The one you purchase and a free one planted straight into the forest on your behalf. 🌳🌳

Together we can replant, restore and grow a forest that runners and the wider George community will enjoy for generations to come. A forest you will one day run through and know, you helped build this. 💛

12 September, join us for The Spring Cake Fair hosted by Alexander’s Wish for Kids with Cancer🎄 .💛
A beautiful celebration of spring and a deeply meaningful one. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and this event is a chance to come together, show up for the little ones who need it most and enjoy spring’s sweetest days. 🍰
The biggest cake fair in the Garden Route is coming to the Kiosk grounds. With a selection of almost 100 cakes to choose your slice from. Tickets are sold on the day, so just show up and treat yourself to something sweet while supporting an incredible cause.

Two weekends, two incredible events, all right here at the Kiosk grounds. Save the dates, bring your people and let’s make it count. 🌿☕️
