🏏 GEORGE VLAKKIE CRICKET LEAGUE – WEEK 22 FIXTURES 🏏

Despite the massive loss to the Van Rooyen Family, Friends, his team B-Town Warriors and George Vlakkie Cricket League-GVCL as a whole, but the game must go on. That is what he loved.

A short memorial will be held 10:00 this Sunday at The Gravy, Langmark Street in Rosemoore. Where teams will wear black armbands/wristbands in his remembrance.

Before every game teams will have a Moment of Silence

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of JJ van Rooyen

JJ was a valued member of B-Town Warriors and a respected part of the George Vlakkie Cricket League-GVCL family. His passion for the game, sportsmanship, and the friendships he built on and off the field will always be remembered.

He was also a loyal and hardworking employee of George Municipality in the Civil Engineering Services directorate.

On behalf of the George Vlakkie Cricket League community, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Van Rooyen family, his loved ones, friends, teammates, and everyone at B-Town Warriors during this difficult time.

May you find comfort in the cherished memories you shared with JJ, and may his soul rest in eternal peace.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
