🕊️🏏 2026 — GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN 🏏🕊️

Today, we remember the lifes of those we have lost in 2026. Though they may no longer be with us, their memories, friendships, and love for the game will forever remain in our hearts. ❤️🙏

The George Vlakkie Cricket League-GVCL family mourns alongside the teams and communities who shared a special bond with these beloved individuals.
🕊️ Linwill Manewil — Rainbow Stars 🌈
🕊️ JJ van Rooyen — B-Town Warriors 🏏
🕊️ Cyrill Arries — Golden Oldies 🏏🏏 💛
🕊️ Shane Saayman — Golden Oldies 💛

Each of them was part of a cricket family that goes beyond the boundary ropes. Cricket is not just about runs, wickets, and victories — it is about brotherhood, friendship, respect, and the memories we create together.
Although their seats may be empty and their voices may be missed, their legacy will live on in the hearts of their teammates, friends, families, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing them.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. 🕊️❤️
Our deepest condolences go out to their families, friends, teammates, and clubs during this difficult time. May you find strength, comfort, and peace in the memories you shared.

🕯️ Rest in Peace, Brothers. Your legacy lives on. 🕊️

Condolences to the Manewil family and friends

Today, we remember not only a remarkable sportsman, but a man whose passion for cricket and rugby brought people together.

His dedication, sportsmanship and love for the game left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. From the cricket field to the rugby field, his presence, friendship and commitment will always be remembered.

Rainbow Stars and Silver Stars Team mourn the loss of an exceptional ambassador who gave so much to both codes.

May his legacy continue through every match played, every friendship formed, and every young player inspired by his example.

Rest in Peace.
