Today, I wanted to share 3 positive changes I’ve experienced since my surgery.

This doesn’t mean the journey is over. I still have endometriosis in other areas and continue to follow a strict anti-inflammatory lifestyle to manage my symptoms.

But these small wins have reminded me just how much chronic pain and inflammation can affect every aspect of your life.

If you’re on a similar journey, know that every person’s path is different. This was simply the right decision for me, and I’m grateful every day for the improvements I’ve experienced.

One of the simplest exercises you can do… yet one of the most underrated.

Dead hangs help improve grip strength, shoulder stability, posture, and upper body mobility. They’re also one of the first exercises I use when helping women work toward their first pull-up.

A stronger grip isn’t just useful in the gym—it translates into better strength, confidence, and performance in everyday life.

Start with a few seconds and gradually build up over time. Consistency beats intensity.

Current routine ✔️

Right now I’m training 6 days a week, focusing on strength, consistency, and getting stronger one workout at a time.

But one thing that’s just as important as the workouts themselves? REST.

Your body doesn’t get stronger during training — it gets stronger while it recovers. Rest days help repair muscle, reduce fatigue, improve performance, and lower your risk of injury.

Train hard. Recover harder. The goal isn’t to do more it’s to do what you can recover from consistently.

A few months ago, I went through seriously low iron after surgery…

And before that, I had never experienced it in my life. I’ve always had good iron levels, so this completely caught me off guard.

But when it hit me… I realised how difficult it actually is.
The fatigue, the heaviness, the feeling of just not being yourself.

So I started being more intentional with how I support my body — not just relying on supplements alone, but also through what I’m eating daily (along with supplementation where needed).

I’ve been following my eating plans with these smoothies included for the past few months now… and my iron levels have been great.

This parsley & berry smoothie became one of the things I added in. Simple, but purposeful.
