♟️🏆 A SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO OUR YOUNG CHAMPIONS 🏆♟️

Today was a massive milestone for two of our young players — Zinedine and Kareem — who both competed in their very first external chess tournament… and both returned home with trophies! ❤️♟️

🥉 Zinedine showed incredible determination, focus, and courage throughout the tournament and proudly secured 3rd Place in his section.

🥇 Kareem delivered an outstanding performance, remaining calm under pressure and earning an amazing 1st Place finish.

For their very first tournament, this is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the hard work, discipline, and dedication they’ve been putting into chess. Walking into a new competitive environment is never easy, but they represented themselves and the club with pride and excellence.

This is only the beginning for these two young stars. The future looks bright, and we are extremely proud of both of them. ❤️♟️🔥🏆

Today was more than just chess.
It was courage, growth, learning, discipline, exposure, and unforgettable memories for our kids. Watching them sit at those boards and represent the club with pride was a moment we will never forget.

♟️🏆 COMMUNITY CHESS CLUB TOURNAMENT APPRECIATION 🏆♟️

Today was a huge milestone for our chess club as many of our children participated in their very first external chess tournament. ❤️

What an incredible experience it was filled with learning, focus, excitement, nerves, growth, and unforgettable memories. For many of these kids, this was their first time representing the club outside of our community, and they carried themselves with pride and courage.

We are extremely proud of every single player who participated today. Whether you won, lost, or drew your games, stepping into a tournament environment and competing takes bravery and discipline. Today was about much more than trophies it was about exposure, confidence, experience, and growth. ♟️🔥

♟️🔥 OUR FIRST CHESS TOURNAMENT, WHAT A SUCCESS! 🔥♟️

What an incredible day for the Community Chess Club! Our very first tournament at the Heideveld Library was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere, the focus, the excitement everything came together beautifully.

We witnessed young minds in action, showing discipline, strategy, and true sportsmanship. This is exactly what we stand for building confidence, critical thinking, and positive opportunities for our youth through chess.

A huge THANK YOU to all the players who participated you made us proud.
To the parents who came out to support and watch your presence meant everything.
To our community members and everyone behind the scenes we appreciate you.

Special thanks to Nadine and Uncle Jeremy for your support and contribution in making this day possible.
We also extend our gratitude to the Ward Councillor for the support and to the Heideveld Library for hosting us and providing such a great space.

And a big congratulations to Zinedine for winning the tournament 🏆♟️ well deserved!
