Looking for an exciting way to keep your young rider active these school holidays?

Our Holiday Club combines skills coaching, trail riding, and adventure rides across some of Cape Town’s best MTB destinations. Whether they’re just getting started or already confident on the trails, we’ll help them build skills, confidence, and create unforgettable riding memories.

👧👦 Ages: 5–17 years

✅ Skills workshops and coaching sessions

Cornering is where speed lives. 🚵💨

If you want to carry more momentum, maintain flow and ride smoother, faster trails, mastering your cornering is one of the biggest skills you can develop.

Our Cornering Workshop is designed for intermediate riders wanting to refine their cornering technique, improve speed, control and consistency on the trails.

We’ll focus on body position, braking control, line choice and generating more grip and momentum through turns. Expect practical coaching, repeatable drills and plenty of trail time at Contermanskloof.

While the UCI MTB World Cup Round 2 action was going down across the globe, we were busy sending it at Paarl DH! 🚵‍♂️🔥

A full day of shuttle laps, big smiles, loose corners, fresh lines, and plenty of progression on one of South Africa’s best downhill tracks. From first-timers to seasoned gravity riders, everyone got their share of airtime and adrenaline. 🤘

Nothing beats lap after lap without the climb! 🚐⬆️

Our BreakAwayRides Holiday Club is back with skills workshops and adventure rides for kids aged 5–17. Whether they’re learning the basics or sharpening trail skills, we’ve got sessions to keep them progressing and smiling all holiday long 🙌

🚀 Join us for our upcoming JUMP WORKSHOP in Hoogekraal!

Date: 23 May
Time: 9-11:00 AM
Location: Hoogekraal, Durbanville

Ready to level up your jumping game? This workshop is the perfect space to learn, improve, and build confidence — all in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

We’ll be running two group levels to meet you where you’re at:

🔹 Level 1: For riders new to jumping or unsure how to approach airtime. We’ll cover the basics and get you feeling more in control when your wheels leave the ground.

🔹 Level 2: For those who’ve already completed Level 1 or are comfortable and consistent on smaller jumps. We’ll help you go higher, boost confidence, and refine your technique.

🎯 Who should join?
Intermediate riders who can confidently ride blue and red trails. Ideally, you should have at least one year of regular riding experience to get the most out of the session.
